At Kitten Kaboodle, we work to save lives, and give cats a chance to have a home.
At Kitten Kaboodle Society, we rescue cats from desperate situations, from other shelters and from the streets. At our cage-free sanctuary, we home both tame and feral cats, regardless of age, medical condition, or temperament. Occasionally, when we determine that a feral cat would be happier in a colony or similar suitable environment, we perform Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) and simply return the kitty to their previous outdoor home. While some of our cats go on to be adopted, others who do not will have a forever home with us.
Most of our resident cats would be considered "unadoptable," due to special needs, such as extensive or continuous medical intervention, or undesirable traits such as urine marking or wild behavior. To every cat at the Kaboodle Society, we promise love, attention, and a comprehensive medical care to ensure a full, happy and active life.
In addition to indoor spaces, our resident cats have access to a 1,100 square-foot "Catio" surrounded by forest, lawn and sky. The Catio is partitioned into 3 sections to enable cats of various ages, temperaments, and capabilities to relax outside simultaneously, and without crowding. Kitten Kaboodle Catio provides safe access to the outdoors, an enriched extended living environment of fresh air and sunshine.
We do not accept cats from the general public, but are happy to assist those in need find helpful resources and available options.
